Our whistles are machined as a single piece from aluminum. They are bead blasted to remove machining marks and then hard anodized. The bead blast leaves a slight texture to the finish. They are anodized dark grey. The hard anodizing is food safe and resists scratches. We have found this design to be very easy to use and easy to learn.
This model is a copy of our stainless steel whistle and thicker than our original aluminum whistle. Qualitatively, testers have found maybe a bit louder than our original and easier to sound.
