Schedule
We offer training time as our schedule allows. Training stock dogs is our passion but still a hobby. We appreciate patience as we do our best to accommodate everyone. Get in touch, read our newsletter and check the calendar to see when training is available. Please e-mail to book training times.
Types of Training
We offer lessons, supervised sheep time and sheep time. Lessons are required for everyone’s first visit here. Once started, we do our best to migrate new handlers to supervised time. This is intended to allow independent practice with some guidance to stay on track. For experienced handlers, we do offer sheep time.
Lessons: $60
Supervised Time: $40
Sheep Time: $30
What to Bring
Please bring a lease and suitable collar. We have lines and stock sticks available to borrow.
Suitable collars are a chain martingale or flat collar.
Anything else needed to make your dog comfortable. Expect to work them for short periods with breaks away in between.
Where to Park
Stay right as you enter the property and drive down past the barn. Park anywhere behind the barn.
Waiver
Washrooms
If you haven’t signed a waiver in the current calendar year, please print and sign a waiver. Drop it off at your next scheduled training.
We generally only have washrooms available during events, please plan accordingly.
